On December 9, Lambert Somec obtained the OHSAS 18001-2007 certification in health and safety.  Also the certification of its ISO 9001 Quality management system has been upgrade to the 2015 edition of the standard.

The company has chosen to play a leading role in the prevention of accidents both on its job sites and throughout all of its operations.  The quality management and safety management system now forms the company's integrated management system.

Lambert Somec will soon undertake plumbing, heating and cooling works for the refurbishing of the Alexandra Pier at the Port of Montreal.

The new facilities are intended for the greeting of the increasing cruise passengers visiting Montréal.

Construction will be completed in April 2017.

Lambert Somec is undertaking the plumbing and process piping works for a major expansion of the existing Joliette Plant.

The works to be performed in phases will be completed in spring 2017
