Lambert Somec Inc. is proud to be involved in the forthcoming launch of the CSeries, through its performing work related to HVAC systems, gas exhaust systems and destruction of VOC emitted by building #805 preparation and painting processes.

Construction work at the thermal plant is 95% complete.  Since January 2013, commissioning of electrical and mechanical equipment has been underway. All cooling systems, totalling 8,040 tons, are now in service. Hot water production is also in service, with three 600 BHP boilers. Steam production will begin before the end of this year.

Last October 8, 2013, was marked by the official opening of the world-class CHUM Research Centre (CRCHUM).  The building includes an integrated teaching and training centre (CIEF) focused on simulation.  Lambert Somec is proud to have participated in this 40 month long project, completed on time and in budget, by performing, supply and installation all of electrical and HVAC systems as well as, the plumbing and heating networks.

In 2014, Lambert Somec shall begin the supply and installation of HVAC ductwork inside block D mechanical shafts.

After, supply and installation of HVAC equipment and ductwork will start in level SS5, SS1, 6 and 7 mechanical rooms.
